Welcome to the Travaux Youth Football Club. Established in 1960, we are one of the longest running youth football clubs in
the south of England. The ethos behind our club has always been to promote fitness through fun. We coach boys, girls, ladies
and mens football, promoting grassroots level football within our own community and in the superb surroundings of our training
and match day venue that is Horndean Technology College.
Travaux Youth Football Club is a FA Chartered Standard Club. FA Charter status means that the football club as a whole has met the necessary criteria from the Football Association. We have FA qualified coaching staff, Child Welfare Officers and have appropriate codes of conduct to promote football in a positive manner which we all adhere to. The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.
We are currently seeking new players of all ages, coaches and managers to help expand the club. This will include walking football for the over 50's, Tots football and new ladies teams etc. We also need your help to manage these teams in which we will support and pay for you to obtain the necessary qualifications to do so.
Sponsors for our teams are always welcome. As with running any football club, kits and equipment do occasionally need replacing. Either as an individual or as a corporation, sponsoring a locally run activity can be a worthwhile and rewarding experience offering opportunities for mutual promotion.
If football, fitness, fun and a chance to mix socially with other like minded people in your community sounds like something you are looking to do please get in touch by going to the Contact Us page.
We look forward to supporting you on the pitch!
